    Description
    The Asian Cuisine Chef assists the Executive Chef and Production Chef in managing the kitchen efficiently and profitably with emphasis on the Asian kitchen while supervising Asian Cuisine Cooks.

    Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Training in sanitation laws and procedures. Culinary school graduate or equivalent experience.

    Experience: Must have at least five years in kitchen management including Asian Cuisine cooking and food prep experience. Knowledge and experience in preparing all types of sushi preferred. Knowledge in all aspects of kitchen procedures, operations, State Board of Health regulations. Must have the ability to operate cooking equipment, knowledge of sautéing, broiling, steaming, baking, and sauce specialties as well as advanced knife skills. Must have a basic understanding of P&L Statements. Must be a motivator and demonstrate superior employee relations.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/TRAININGS REQUIRED:

  • WA State Food Handlers Permit Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
