    Description

    Crane Mechanic

    Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Crane Mechanics to join their teams as the organization grows. The Crane Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of crane equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

    Responsibilities

    · Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

    · Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems with crane components, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and structural components.

    · Perform repairs and adjustments on crane equipment, including replacing faulty parts, tightening bolts, and lubricating moving components.

    · Conduct preventive maintenance on crane equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.

    · Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

    · Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate crane maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs.

    · Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on crane equipment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following lockout/tagout procedures.

    · Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to crane maintenance and repair.

    Qualifications

    · High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in crane mechanics is preferred.

    · Proven experience as a crane mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of crane operations and maintenance procedures.

    · Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

    · Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

    · Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

    · Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    · Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.

    · Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
