- Records information in clinical record as outlined by Solaris HealthCare standards
- Copies information, such as resident's temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressure from nurses' records onto resident's medical records.
- Records diet instructions.
- Keeps file of medical records on residents in unit.
- Prepares notice of resident's discharge to inform business office.
- Requisitions supplies designated by nursing staff.
- Answers telephone and relays messages to residents and nursing staff.
- Directs visitors to residents' rooms.
- Checks resident ID system, ID bands and/or resident pictures and obtains replacements as necessary
- Prepares name tags for doors and places on door upon admission and as needed
- Thins clinical records at least monthly
- Audits new admission charts, using the Quality Improvement audit tools
- Faxes orders to physicians, as requested
- Assembles and maintains complete admission and discharge/transfer packets for assigned units
- Schedules transportation to physician appointments or other appointments, as required. Arrange escort, as required

Effective 11/08/2022 , it shall be the policy of this center to offer a $1,000.00 Retention (Sign-On) Bonus to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) employees who are hired for 3-11 shift on either full or part-time employment.
MUST WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND- FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare and compile records on nursing unit.
Job Functions
High School graduate or equivalent required. Must have legible penmanship, knowledge of medical symbols, abbreviations, and terminology.
Experience
1-3 months previous working experience preferred.
