- Responsibility for directing project engineering work of complete projects or assigned sections, streamlining engineering processes and within the engineering systems.
- Ability to plan projects, set targets for completions, maintain release schedules, and provide follow-up.
- Supervision on all project design work including existing and new designs, including technical aspects of the project designs.
- Leading personnel on the design team to ensure that the work is complete, accurate, and on schedule and at the estimated hours.
- Participating in customer contact as necessary including meetings, measure-ups, and startups.

Valmet is currently looking for an Engineering Manager responsible for the completion of simple to highly complex projects as well as all the duties on an engineer. Uses knowledge of commonly used and high-level concepts, practices, procedures including high level engineering principles. Being responsible for component selection, functionality, and the use of good engineering practices while leading and directing the work of other engineers. Expectations require exercising a high level of independent judgement and a high degree of creativity and organization.

Primary Duties
If you have a Bachelors' degree from a four-year college or university with a minimum of eight (8) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, we will welcome your application. Experience with CAD and ability to manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
