    Overview

    Magic EdTech is looking for a Business Development professional to support outbound growth initiatives. This role will focus on cold outreach, relationship building, and connecting with prospective clients, particularly universities and e-learning platforms working in the workforce development space.

    The ideal candidate understands B2B sales, is comfortable with proactive outreach, and can hold meaningful conversations with decision-makers.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and reach out to prospective clients through cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
    • Build relationships with universities, higher education institutions, and e-learning platforms
    • Engage with stakeholders involved in workforce development and upskilling initiatives
    • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for deeper sales conversations
    • Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and follow-ups
    • Collaborate with internal sales and delivery teams to support deal progression

    Requirements

    • Prior experience in business development, inside sales, or lead generation
    • Strong experience with cold calling and outbound outreach
    • Clear understanding of B2B sales cycles and client engagement
    • Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

    Good to Have

    • Experience in the EdTech industry
    • Exposure to higher education, workforce development, or digital learning platforms
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking
