    Description

    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Data Entry Clerk will support our Freight and Trucking team. They will be responsible for inputting data into our central database in an efficient and timely manner. The ideal candidate will perform work accurately, give great attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment. One year of data entry experience using spreadsheets and database files is required for this role.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collecting information from customers and clients
    • Accurately enter data into the central database
    • Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
    • Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
    • Retrieving data as requested
    • Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
    • Communicating with customers/Team members
    • Uploading documents into a database
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Basic accounting knowledge
    • Skill in accurate data entry
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to check work for accurac
    • Excellent attendance

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • 1+ years' experience in data entry

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and typing on a computer
