- Participates in preventative maintenance by assisting mill maintenance personnel in carrying out maintenance tasks.
- Works in various capacities when another employee is absent or as necessary (may include receiving, flaking, and loader operation).
- Participates in daily housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing millwork areas.
- Complies with applicable safety rules and policies.
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers; ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
- Employees may be required to wear hardhat; eyes, ears, and respiratory protection daily. See your Manager for the PPE requirements for your job.
- Lifting, carrying, push/pull, pinch/grip, reaching overhead and away from the body, walk, stand, crawl, kneel, squat, and climbing at heights are essential to this job.
