TheLead Baristais responsible for setting the standard by which our baristas abide, which includes sharing passion and spirit for the customer experience. As deputy manager, you serve all products with a friendly approach toward each customer and coach, inspire, and support the barista team. He/she is also responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and teas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Model the cafe customer experience by ensuring consistent, friendly, personal service.
• Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
• Follow all company drink recipes and procedures.
• Develops an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the differences in flavor and blends.
• Coach and provide feedback to fellow baristas and help them understand the connection between results and service.
• Solve problems efficiently and correctly while supporting others by helping to remove obstacles.
• Proficiently prepares blended and cold drinks provided by the store.
• Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks, and food items.
• Reports all customer complaints to the manager on duty.
• Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greetings, directions to store location and receiving and filling customer orders.

• 1-2 years' experience preferred.
• Maintains positive company morale and professional attitude.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to30 pounds.
• Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages.
