    Job DescriptionJob Description:


    Prototype Build Project Manager, supports the organization on planning, coordination and follow-up of build and test activities on projects at Volvo Trucks, securing a good status between systems and physical test objects according to project frame.

    Lead, plan, organize and control the Physical Build activities in close cooperation with the project team and PME within Product Development projects.

    Meet the project prototype need of Physical Builds and parts according to specified requirements.
    Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio, from initiation to completion.

    Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risks - and to deliver on agreed project objectives.

    May be assigned to more complex project support from lead project manager.
    Working independently with limited supervision.


    QualificationsQualifications:
    Position requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
    May have a certification in project management.
    Background from Automotive, Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry is preferred.

    Knowledge of MS Office Tools, Basic CAD tools exposure (viewer)Good understanding of Bill of material, assembly drawingsPrototype ordering and coordination with shops and suppliers.
