The Senior Engineer, Mechanical participates in a teamenvironment consisting of engineers and designers to produceconstruction documents for the following systems: HVAC wet/dry,plumbing, controls and the like.
Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesPerforms engineering tasks ensuring systems for hightechnology facilities including cleanrooms, generalmanufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilitiesare safe from fire
Work with other professionals to design and implement firesafety systems such as sprinkler systems, alarms, and emergencyexits
Coordination with disciplines in the preparation anddevelopment of the deliverables and ensuring those otherdisciplines' inputs are incorporated
Support project on-site execution and make decisions tosupport projects and act as technical consultant
Provides specialized technical input to studies and designfor staff's specific area of expertise
Assists in developing studies and design procedures tofacilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
Works will include close coordination with the project teamand other disciplines as well as other design offices
Assists in the development of conceptual design,preliminary design and final design documents which wouldinclude calculations related to sizing and selecting of thesesystems, the development of Process and InstrumentationDiagrams, general arrangements and sequences of operationassociated with these systems

Show your expertiseBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
6+ years of experience
Good time management skills, strong work ethic andattention to details
Individual must possess strong communication andorganizational skills
Strong team player with an ability to build effectiveworking relationships with individuals, department leads, andclient representatives
Energetic and self-motivated
Works to build and maintain positive and productive workingrelationships both internal and external
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying(NCEES) Record preferred
