    Description


    Embedded systems design and architectures - should be familiar with concepts like watchdogs, task pre-emption, software/hardware interrupts, priority inversion, etc.

    The key skills are

    Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment.
    Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviours of embedded subsystems
    Be involved in the full life-cycle of firmware development from concept through integration, test and high volume manufacturing.
    Contribute towards writing requirements with traceability to implementation and the test cases.
    Hands-on hardware brings up, system debugging and code optimization.
    Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
    Interface with hardware and mechanical engineering teams, as well as service and end-users of the products.
    Proficiency in C programming and proven record of delivering high quality code.
    Prior experience in any of the domains across Industrial Automation, Energy and Infrastructure would be an added advantage.
    Experience defining Test Specification, writing/executing test cases and reporting coverage etc.
    Excellent in embedded programming skills with C and testing with 16/32 bit Microcontrollers with excellent debugging skills.
    BE/B-Tech in Electronics & Communication.
    Proficient in configuration management tools (SVN, Collabnet, GIT) and release procedures.

    A positive outlook, interest in adapting to new technologies, a passion for Embeded system engineering and the ability to work as part of a team.
