Job Summary
The Property and Casualty Underwriter is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new and renewal business opportunities for Property and Casualty insurance.They assess risks associated with insuring properties and liabilities, evaluate applications, analyze data, and determine coverage terms and premiums to ensure sound underwriting decisions.
The role also develops underwriting practices guidelines as per delegated authority builds relationships with brokers other stakeholders in the designated portfolio.
