    The Bengtson Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery team is growing We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for aesthetics who is ready for the next step in their career. We are searching for the right candidate this summer to begin in August.

    Dr. Brad Bengtson, MD FACS, Dr. David Alfonso, MD FACS, and our talented team specialize in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, offering a wide range of non-surgical solutions that keep our patients looking and feeling their best. Located at our stunning facility on 2155 East Paris Ave in Grand Rapids, we serve patients from across Michigan, the United States, Canada, and even Europe, providing safe and exceptional surgical and non-surgical cosmetic services.

    This full-time Concierge-level position addition to our First Impression Team (FIT) requires a thorough understanding of our surgeons' professional credentials, available products, non-surgical and surgical services, and the ability to promote cross-over opportunities within our practice. We need someone who's organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. An analytical mind and strong attention to details is required. You'll work both independently and collaboratively with our team, ensuring that work is prioritized to meet deadlines while delivering exceptional service to our patients.

    Responsibilities


    • Performing daily audits of financial reports and deposits to ensure financial accuracy


    • Scheduling patients for various treatments in our practice management system, NexTech, for our 15+ providers


    • Handling transactions at checkout and reconciling them for each patient


    • Assisting with staff transactions and providing support in training new team members


    • Acting as backup for our Patient Experience Specialist Team by answering phone calls


    • Educating patients on treatments and products, guiding them in making informed decisions


    • Upholding and explaining our Financial Policy, ensuring clarity for our patients


    • Engaging in special projects to contribute to the overall success of the team


    • Presenting yourself professionally and ready to shine, in line with BCAPS attire standards


    • Familiarizing yourself with our financing options, such as PatientFi and CareCredit, to assist patients


    • Reporting any adverse patient and provider experiences to the Office Manager promptly, both verbally and in writing


    • Welcoming all patients, vendors, and team members with warmth and hospitality

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma; College degree or accounting courses preferred
    • Previous experience in healthcare or surgery preferred
    • Previous bank teller or billing experience preferred
    • Plastic surgery terminology knowledge
    • Superior service and problem-solving skills required
    • Customer Service 1 year (Mandatory)
    • Medical Office: 1 year (Preferred)
