- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to occupational therapy services in schools.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving functional abilities and promoting participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
