    Lead projects and teams towards agreed upon goals, ultimately working towards clinical candidate peptide nomination
    Independent data-driven optimization of peptide SAR
    Effective communication of scientific rationale, results and interpretation at project, team and departmental meetings, contributing to strategic discussions.
    Future management of more junior scientists
    PhD in organic chemistry, or related field, with at least 5 subsequent years of experience in an industrial setting

    • Proficient in all aspects of modern peptide synthesis, protein bioconjugation, peptide and protein purification and analysis
    • Strong understanding of peptide and protein structure and associated biophysical techniques to assess structure, stability and behavior in solution
    • Motivated to maintain a strong laboratory presence along with design and planning activities
    • Assimilates data and research findings outside of our co. for application to new scientific projects
    • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability working with / recommending a variety of laboratory equipment/tools
    • Excellent computer, communications, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
    • Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
