    As we expand our operations, we are looking for dedicated FedEx Ground Pickup and Delivery Drivers to join our team and contribute to our continued success.


    Job Description:
    As a FedEx Ground Pickup and Delivery Driver at Bay South Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Safely and responsibly operating company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to pick up and deliver various items.
    • Following established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
    • Inspecting and maintaining the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
    • Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
    • Adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
    • Keeping accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

    Requirements:
    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy packages lbs) with the aid of dollies.
    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
    • Flexibility to work varying shifts.
    • Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary with additional pay.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
