The President Architecture will serve as both a strategic and operational leader, acting as the firm's primary business driver, design authority, and cultural ambassador.
This hands-on role is ideal for a licensed architect with strong leadership, client development, and entrepreneurial skills who can balance creative design vision with business strategy and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
Provide vision and leadership to align firm goals with broader organizational objectives.
Lead strategic planning, financial management, and operational execution.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture built around creativity and care.
Business Development
Drive new business growth through active networking, proposal development, and client engagement.
Lead client relationship management and ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Define and promote the firm's market position to maintain a strong pipeline of profitable work.
Represent the firm at industry events to enhance visibility and brand reputation.
Architectural Practice
Serve as lead designer on major projects, ensuring adherence to design vision and quality standards.
Oversee design execution, technical quality, and compliance across all projects.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and design excellence.
Operations & Management
Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams across development, construction, and property management for seamless integration of services.
Qualifications
Licensed Architect in Missouri or North Carolina (required).
NCARB certification preferred.
12+ years of progressive architectural experience, including leadership roles.
Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate Development, or institutional investment environments preferred.
Strong financial management, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Skills
