About Tjoapack

Tjoapack is a global Contract Packaging Organization (CPO) specializing in primary and secondary pharmaceutical packaging and supply chain management services. With more than 30 years of experience, we support customers across more than 45 countries worldwide.

The Role

As a Strategic Buyer at our US facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of all procurement-related activities. Reporting to the on-site Manager, Operations Planning & Control, you will manage day-to-day purchasing operations while supporting global procurement strategy.

This role bridges global procurement objectives with local site needs. You will oversee supplier performance, contract management, warehouse-related service agreements, and procurement analytics—ensuring alignment with Tjoapack's standards for quality, compliance, and customer-focused service.

You will act as the local owner of procurement and supplier management processes, contributing directly to operational continuity, cost optimization, and supply chain reliability.

Throughout the day, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to ensure materials and services are acquired on time, within budget, and in compliance with cGMP/cGDP requirements.

You may also participate in contract discussions, assess warehouse capacity needs, analyze procurement data for forecasting, or lead improvement initiatives that strengthen supplier performance and reduce risk. Your work ensures our US operations remain aligned with global standards while meeting site-specific demands.
