    Job Description:


    The Front-End Developer work encompasses front-end development, digital content, web design, administration, optimization, building/coding marketing assets, and all website and email support.

    The role strategizes and executes new digital initiatives to improve the organization's digital footprint, while primarily supporting the WFCU website as well as other digital platforms.


    Job Duties:


    Support and maintain the front-end of the WFCU website and other digital platforms using hypertext markup language (HTML), Hubspot, JavaScript (JS), and the content management system (CMS).

    Build interactive web pages and online experiences that are cross-browser, cross-device compatible, and ADA friendly.


    Work closely with Marketing Operations to identify and implement technical and on-page search engine optimization (SEO) enhancements that align with segment interests and needs.


    • Partner with marketing team to execute content review and revisions in a strategic manner to optimize user experience and establish the WFCU website as a best in class for SEO.


    Collaborate with the marketing team to scope and ensure feasibility of designs while maintaining a user-centric focus that also amplifies the WFCU brand.

    Partner with IT team and external marketing partners to translate code into CMS templates for consistency and efficiency.

    Conduct regular testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of website, emails, and other digital platforms.

    Key participation in special projects to include: evaluation, planning, task completion, testing and post-implementation support of marketing platforms.


    Helps develop and implement digital marketing strategic plan designed to drive brand awareness, member engagement and acquisition, retention and cross sell.


    Responsible for managing multiple analytic platforms to determine, analyze, and report on effectiveness of various marketing programs and promotions within the company.


    Utilizes web and social analytic tools, such as google analytics, to improve metrics such as bounce rate, click-through rate, engagement, etc.

    Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.

    Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards

    Assist in the integration of additional platforms, programs, partners, etc. into the marketing channels and initiatives.


    Qualifications:
    Specialized or Technical Knowledge and Skills:


    Intermediate knowledge of web‐based applications and common Internet protocols and conventions (web browsers, email, HTTP, FTP) and Office Suite software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel) required.

    Intermediate knowledge of web display languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JS).
    Attention-to-detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.

    Intermediate understanding of SEO best practices for web content, including keyword selection, link building, content creation, keyword density analysis, and site linking.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points.
    Strong analytical, organizational, project management, problem solving, and time management skills.

    Experience with developing emails (preferably Hubspot), SEO, UI/UX testing, and Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools preferred but not required.

    SEO certification preferred (e.g., Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ)) preferred.
