- Offer engineering support focused on the transport and networking architecture for current and future tactical network capabilities.
- Participate in design reviews and conduct thorough technical evaluations and assessments of network performance and architectures, including risk assessments and integration strategies.
- Support Capability Set (CS) and Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) activities.
- Review Government performance work statements and contractor proposals for technical accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Minimum 15+ years of related tactical network engineering experience (software/network, Satellite, RF engineering), including at least 5 years at the PEO/PM level with Tactical Network.
- Experience in network engineering, designing and implementing LANs or VLANs, routing protocols, multicast, routing configurations, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, network protocol analysis using tools such as Sniffer or Wireshark, VMware, commercial communications equipment, transport and network architectures, endtoend network design and performance, voice/data transmission and backbone networks, and RF engineering.
- Ability to effectively communicate and lead integrated project teams.
- Ability to provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.
- Knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
