A Senior Buyer is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering. Remote work.

The Senior Buyer independently handles complex purchasing activities in the engineering and construction industry, from requisition analysis and supplier negotiation to technical coordination and compliance.

responsibilities:
Analyze purchasing requisitions for clarity, completeness, and authorization.
Maintain a list of qualified suppliers by commodity.
Issue Requests for Quotation and analyze bid quotations for responsiveness.
Negotiate best price, delivery, terms, and purchase conditions.
Coordinate technical review with Project Engineering and Traffic.
Prepare Bid Analysis Summary and secure necessary approvals.
Issue purchase orders and conduct comparative analyses of price and conditions.

Skills:
Knowledge of purchasing practices in engineering and construction.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in SAP Ariba.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Economics (or equivalent).
Typically 3+ years of related work experience.
