- Guide efforts in support of manufacturing productivity with process troubleshooting, quality improvements and training.
- Collect and analyze data, monitor key variables, document findings in report form.
- Lead process-engineering and continuous improvement support for new and existing products.
- Provide on-call technical support for the St. Johnsbury manufacturing facility and assist to troubleshoot board machines or quality issues.
- Run development trials to optimize operations on the board machines and within the components area.
- Interact and collaborate daily with Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operators and Lab personnel to implement changes and improve process performance.
- Manage projects; including the purchase, install and startup of new process equipment, the enhancement of existing processes, and the development of new products
- Bachelor's degree in Paper Science or Chemical Engineering and three to five years experience in a manufacturing setting desired.
- Effectively utilize computer-based applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team based activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
