- Drive ever-improving results by leveraging RBS tools, consulting skills, and change management process.
- Assist site/company leadership in the development of a RBS roadmap.
- Facilitate Site Operations Review and ensure a Problem-Solving Plan (PSP) is used to address KPI's that missed the monthly target
- Organize and facilitate workshops and Kaizen events
- Ensure sustainment for all Kaizens & Workshops
- Directly provide formal and informal RBS training and coaching
- Facilitate other RBS training sessions when appropriate
- Assist in achieving business unit Policy Deployment (PD) and Strategic Plan objectives
- Continue to evolve RBS tools
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business. Provide expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them.
- Improve RBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in RBS tools.
- Promote and facilitate associate development in various RBS tools, lean production, and Kaizen leadership.
- Evaluate and approve candidates for the RBS Champion Certification.
- Benchmark and incorporate best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical experience
5+ years of experience in Engineering or Operations - Technical knowledge of Product and Manufacturing processes
- Prior operations daily management, process development experience in a Lean/Pull operations environment required
- Strong written, verbal and computer skills
- Excellent communications and instruction skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
- Success in managing through influence, persuasion, coaching and counseling
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a Leadership perspective
- Ability to design, develop, and implement an RBS roadmap for an operating business
- Mastery of a variety of process improvement tools like 5S, VSM, PSP, etc.
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma concepts or equivalent in a line management role
