    CHRISTUS provides a yearlongdevelopmental and on-boarding program to help newly licensedregistered nurses obtain the skills and confidence necessary forproviding high quality patient care through evidence-based trainingand critical thinking alongside our recognizedprofessionals.

    Each new graduate who joins theCHRISTUS Good Shepherd team will be enrolled in a comprehensiveorientation and assigned to a preceptor. Your personal preceptorwill be in your home unit and will support you through the program,show you the ropes and guide you through a structured curriculum ofprogressive skill development and patient careassignments.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from anaccredited RN School of Nursing
    • Current TexasRN license (Obtained after graduation)
    • CPRcertified through the American HeartAssociation
    • Demonstrate interest inprofessional growth and development
    • Ability toaccept scheduling/placement designations determined prior tohire
