DescriptionCash Customer Service Representative, Candidates can choose 7:30-4 or 8-4:30, Fully Remote
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of patient accounts. Responsibilities include resolving patient inquiries regarding their account. Position adheres to departmental productivity and quality standards in support of operational goals.
Responsibilities of Role:
This position takes incoming calls from the patient regarding patient missing payments and patient refunds. Team members will also index correspondence when call volumes are low and when they are assigned based on team rotation.
Context and purpose of role:
Phone coverage and 85% or greater quality audit scores. Customer Service experience is a plus.
Other Requirements:
•At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
