    Responsibilities What you get to do every day:

    • Providing Tier 2 support for desktop services that include infrastructure, data services, unified communications, windows, linux, VDI, core, and hosting for a large Enterprise environment
    The supporting infrastructure includes multiple Microsoft based networks spanning multiple security enclaves within a hybrid (Windows & RHEL) environment.

    • Contribute as part of quality control team providing guidance to team members, reviewing and evaluating desktop support provided by team, working with internal and external engineers and service providers to resolve complex incidents/problems, and be liaison to Incident Management and Monitoring teams when lead enterprise admin is unavailable.
    • System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical
    • Troubleshoot application functionality, crash and performance
    • Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
    • Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
    • Provide remote end user desktop support
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
    Responds to escalated service desk/team requests.

    • Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
    • Participate in special projects as required.
    • Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

    Qualifications Required Clearance:
    Active TS/SCI clearance and a CI poly is required


    • *This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**Required Certification: Must have Sec + or higher on day 1; Additionally, candidate must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Training within six (6) months of Hire Date.
    (CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is the preferred certification) Education/Experience:


    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
    6+ years of related systems administration experience Required Skills:

    Expected skills, knowledge, and technical abilities:

    • Active Directory Administration
    • DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016,
    • Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer
    • Linux Operating system
    • Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
    • ITILv3 or higher What is ideal?
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
    • PowerShell
    • Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix)
    • Profile management utilizing the VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Telephone/Video support
    • Networking

    The starting salary for this position is typically between $85k and $130k per year, plus potential performance-based bonus
    This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation packages are based on education, experience, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above stated range
