- Providing Tier 2 support for desktop services that include infrastructure, data services, unified communications, windows, linux, VDI, core, and hosting for a large Enterprise environment
- Contribute as part of quality control team providing guidance to team members, reviewing and evaluating desktop support provided by team, working with internal and external engineers and service providers to resolve complex incidents/problems, and be liaison to Incident Management and Monitoring teams when lead enterprise admin is unavailable.
- System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical
- Troubleshoot application functionality, crash and performance
- Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
- Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
- Provide remote end user desktop support
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
- Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents
- *This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**Required Certification: Must have Sec + or higher on day 1; Additionally, candidate must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Training within six (6) months of Hire Date.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
