    Position Summary:

    This position requires a self-driven, well organized Key Accounts Representative who can exercise decision making skills, follow-through on key customer communication & reporting, follow ups, new product support and other tactical matters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. This position reports to the Customer Experience/Key Accounts Manager. This position supports the company with the responsibilities that are included below.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Supports the company's Key Accounts in handling all order entry needs, and updates
    • Serves as a secondary point of contact for a wide variety of the company's key customer contacts and backs up other members of the Customer Service team.
    • Sends weekly order report updates to Key Accounts
    • Sends daily ship notifications to Key Accounts.
    • Supports Customer Experience/Key Accounts Manager in tracking and analyze sales trends, production attainment, fill rates, losses, and other business drivers to identify opportunities for business improvement.
    • Supports Customer Experience/Key Accounts Manager in assisting accounting team members to troubleshoot complex or escalated billing, deduction, and collection issues.
    • Supports Customer Experience/Key Accounts Manager in entering customer complaints as needed.
    • Supports Customer Experience/Key Accounts Manager in entering Projects as needed
    • Communicates regular (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually) pricing updates to all key customers as needed in order to successfully and accurately update all company pricing and billing changes.
    • Maintains a robust working knowledge of key account products in order to answer questions and troubleshoot customer issues as needed as a secondary point of contact.
    • Portrays a positive and professional image of the company and self when interacting with customers and colleagues.
    • Ensure that required competencies to carry out these job functions affecting product legality, safety and quality are met in accordance with the Quality Policy and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard.
    • Complies with corporate/plant safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
    • Must be able to work away from the office as needed to attend customer meetings, presentations, events and other activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power Point
    • Demonstrated sense of urgency, flexibility, and ability to multi-task
    • Results driven and understands the link between action and results
    • Must be able to multitask and handle fast paced sales and customer service work environment
    • Prior successful customer relations experienced is required
    • Must be customer driven with a positive attitude, show accountability and professionalism
    • Data entry skills with accuracy and speed
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and interact when working with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently
    • This position is mostly sedentary however some tasks may require lifting, bending, or standing

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in Sales, Customer Service, Marketing or Finance Field
    • Food manufacturing or marketing background is a plus
