- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux server administration (preferably RedHat or CentOS).
- Knowledge of shell scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Ansible).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (OpenStack, KVM).
- Experience with storage technologies (Ceph, Hadoop, NFS, Samba).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Solid understanding of STIG and IAVA compliance for Linux systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of Linux-based systems across our organization
The ideal candidate has a strong background in Linux server administration, troubleshooting, and a passion for ensuring the reliability and security of our infrastructure
Responsibilities:
Server Deployment and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and OpenStack On-Prep cloud to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
System Monitoring and Optimization:
Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues
Optimize server performance and resource utilization.
Security:
Implement and maintain STIG and IAVA compliance to safeguard Linux systems.
Automation:
Implement and maintain ansible automation to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
User Management:
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in accordance with security policies
Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
