- Prior work or volunteer experience is preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Current enrollment with completion of at least two semesters/or equivalent in an accredited RN Program
- Enrollment throughout employment in an approved Work Study Course through an affiliated school (Fresno City College, CSU Fresno, West Hills, COS, SJVC, Merced, CSU Stanislaus)
- HeartCode Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- Advancement to PNE II is based on completion of the pediatric theory and clinical course work, and successful completion of the Valley Children's medication examination
- Must be able to complete the full, weeklong new hire/clinical orientation during the summer

SUMMARY:
Performs nursing activities that have been documented as learned in the nursing program; may assist with medication administration upon completion of the pediatric theory and clinical course work, and successful completion of the Valley Children's medication examination.EXPERIENCE:
