    We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to help shape the future of our cloud products.

    We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to partner with engineering and business leaders to deeply understand, influence, and manage the gross margin health for the portfolio of applications & lines of business built on the Dynamics 365 platform, as well as model, plan, and implement structural efficiencies, new offerings, and long-term bets.

    You will partner closely with engineering, business planning, marketing, as well as a breadth of finance partners.

    It is a critical role supporting the rapidly growing Business Applications & Dynamics 365 portfolio, a strategic area of growth and investment for the broader Microsoft Cloud.

    Responsibilities

    This is a great opportunity to:

    • Protect, maintain, and expand product gross margins for Microsoft's suite of Dynamics365 business applications and its growing number of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-infused Business Copilot products.
    • Partner with Engineering, Revenue finance, Business Planning, and Operations to ensure that business investment decisions are aligned to long-term profitability benchmarks. Articulate findings to facilitate executive decision making across business and finance leaders
    • Understand and model Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Margins for a variety of Enterprise SaaS products at different stages of scale and growth, including brand new products and features
    • Act as a key member of Business Applications AI investment team, helping manage product growth and AI datacenter capacity for a global customer base

    Other responsibilities may include:

    • Manage core Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) rhythms of business, including Close, Forecast, and Long Range Planning. Interpret results, advise on risks and opportunities, and help drive business decisions with Business Applications leadership
    • Own the end to end process with engineering of Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) required for AI features and products launching in market optimizing for usage and thruput

    Qualifications

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4 years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2 years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to form and influence cross-functional partnerships to deliver high-value projects both as an individual and through v-teams with business partnering skills
    • Deep analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities and strategic thinking
    • Proven data and financial modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems
    • Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills.
    • Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts.
    • Ability to drive best-in-class decision support in ambiguous environments. Partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required.
    • Deep understanding of the technology industry, particularly commercial public and private cloud services, business models and economics preferred
    • Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed COGS analysis
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly prioritize for impact and the resourcefulness to deliver
    • Willingness to prioritize business partners who are located in the Pacific Time Zone.
    Financial Analysis IC- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year.

    There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
