    Joyous is adding a Product Engineer to our team This will be our first Product engineer and will be an integral part of the growth and future success of the company. You will play a pivotal role in helping build and implement our products so we can continue to execute our product roadmap. You will have direct hands-on responsibility building our entire suite of products. You will leverage software engineering experience, data analytics, AI and product insights to create growth opportunities and strategies that drive patient acquisition, engagement, and retention.

    Location:

    • This role will be located onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive impact for the organization by rallying partners to solve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems. You'll partner on translating the company's strategic and high impact initiatives into an iterative roadmap of work and execute with the engineering team on its delivery.
    • Develop, implement, and optimize growth hacks and strategies to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
    • Utilize technical tools and scripts to automate and optimize growth efforts; often times shipping code to production
    • Understand the user journey deeply and identify product changes that could drive growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product changes and monitor the success metrics.
    • Prioritize and manage growth-related product enhancements, using a data-driven approach.
    • Analyze user data to identify patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
    • Implement and monitor A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experiments to determine the success of growth initiatives.
    • Regularly report on the success of growth efforts, providing clear insights and recommendations for iterative improvement.
    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate growth efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience; minimum of 4 years shipping code
    • Proven experience in growth hacking, or product management.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to ship code in Javascript (React, Node)
    • Strong interest and passion in building/utilizing with AI
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to succeed.
    • Ability to think both strategically and tactically.
    • Proactive problem solver.
    • Adept at multitasking and prioritization.
    • Passionate about patient growth and product development.
