    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    • Exhibits emotional resilience and wisdom in servant leadership roles.
    • Revenue tracking, strategizing for profit, and adhering to budgets and plans.
    • Assists with supervising food, beverage/culinary daily operations
    • Ensuring customer and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget
    • Takes action based on core values and performance metrics
    • Assisting in Managing Day-to-Day Operations
    • Assists in procuring Food and Beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
    • Supervises daily F&B shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures
    • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection and audit program
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand-specific service culture
    • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
    • Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality and standards and meeting the expectations of the customers daily
    • Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns
    • Performs hourly job functions if necessary
    • Drive loyalty through service excellence and quality that aligns with our values.
    • Training, team development, and corrective coaching.
    • Creates a safe framework mentally, socially, and physically.
    • Manage compliance with food and beverage policies as directed by the local health department.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have own reliable transportation to commute
    • Must be available on weekends
    • Must have multi-unit experience.

    THE ROLE

    The Area Manager is driven, loves to multitask and pivot, has a heart for their people, is an active listener, is dedicated to the culture we are creating, and is a proactive problem solver. The Area Manager works directly with the Operations Manager as their second command. The Area Manager learns and understands all of the roles in the company, including the commissary manager role, barista role, roastery and warehouse roles, and works within every level of the company as the Operations Manager needs, from hiring and training team members, developing quality assurance programs, adhering to budgets, and strategizing process improvements for efficient, timely, and accurate task completion.

    As the Area Manager, you will have a social responsibility and opportunity to lead your team through positive communication, positioning each team member to highlight their strengths while setting them up for success and being the backbone of the quality product we deliver.

    The Area Manager is responsible for creating a culture that reflects the company values, increasing sales and profits through sound financial management, and providing leadership, direction, and support to the Cafe Managers. Keeping all locations running by providing support and relief to different departments as needed by the Operations Manager is essential. The overall goal of the Area Manager is to ensure the successful operations of the cafes in their portfolio and consistently demonstrate and enforce company policies, practices, and procedures. Numbers are evaluated and memorized to make decisions based on our core values. Systems are created that work within our structure to optimize operations and streamline flow.
