    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:Provide patient-centered care to women in labor, including monitoring fetal heart rate, assessing labor progress, and implementing pain management techniques.

    Vaginally deliver newborns in a safe and compassionate manner, adhering to all established protocols.
    Act as first assist on cesarean sections. Perform telephone triage of obstetric and gynecologic patients.


    EMR:
    EPICParticipate in student and resident education.
    Educate and counsel mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
    Identify and manage potential complications during labor and delivery, collaborating with physicians as needed. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
    Participate in ongoing education and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in midwifery practice.


    Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery (MSN) from an accredited program.

    Certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American Midwifery Certification Corporation (AMCC).Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery within a hospital setting.

    Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
    Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
    Commitment to providing patient-centered care with a focus on respect for women's choices.
