    Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior Systems

    Engineer (Database

    Security)

    to join the Data Protection and Analytics Product Area Team supporting Enterprise Cyber Security.
    The Team
    Our team focuses on Database Activity Monitoring for our most critical database platforms. We architect, design, develop, deploy, automate, administer, support, and maintain global deployments of database activity monitoring capabilities.

    This role will be based in Westlake, TX / Raleigh, NC or Salt Lake City, UT
    The Expertise You Have
    Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline
    7+ years of database administration & engineering experience with two or more of relational & NoSQL database (Oracle/DB2/SQL

    Server/MongoDB/MySQL/Cassandra/AWS

    RDS etc.)
    Deep understanding of Database security principles, best practices specific to relational & NoSQL databases
    3+ Years Experience in implementing and administering Database Security Product & Platforms (e.g. IBM Guardium, jSonar or equivalent etc.)
    Experience in implementing, monitoring and managing security measures for the protection of organization's data, systems and networks etc.
    6+ years of experience in Software Engineering / System Administration / Engineering Projects Experience Troubleshooting Difficult Technical Problems
    Experience with scripting knowledge (Perl, Python, etc) is preferred.
    Experience with automation and DevOps automation, CI/CD Jenkins pipeline is preferred.
    Experience and certification with Azure or AWS is beneficial.

    The Skills You Bring
    Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
    Strong knowledge of supporting operating systems (Linux and Windows)
    Familiarity with security standards, regulations and reports (PCI, SOX, HIPPA, GDPR, ISO 27001)
    Excellent system analysis and problem-solving skills
    Experience Troubleshooting Difficult Technical Problems
