Ibex Consulting is a recently-founded consulting firm that helps high-growth technology companies scale via strategic finance, accounting & ops, and grant management services.

We are seeking a Director of Government Programs to lead our proposal development team and help clients across their grant journey, from opportunity discovery to agency submission.

Responsibilities:

You will report directly to the CEO and founder of Ibex and will be responsible for building out a team of grant writers and proposal managers to scale the business unit.

Core responsibilities will vary, but will including all of the following:

Opportunity Research and Identification

Monitor and flag client-relevant BAAs / NOFOs / FOAs
Conduct thorough analysis on solicitations to determine fit for clients' technology or programmatic roadmaps
Proposal Development

Assemble and lead proposal development teams, take full accountability for timely submissions and win rates
Give guidance and feedback on proposal content, including hands-on editing of project narratives and technical volumes
Coordinate timelines and communication between Ibex and client teams
Client Management

Run point on client meetings including developing agendas, reports, and other client deliverables
Communicate with the Ibex leadership team on internal resource allocation and forecasted resource needs
Troubleshoot all escalated client issues as they arise

Necessary Qualifications:
3+ years of federal grant/contract submission experience
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Impeccable writing and editing skills
Excellent interpersonal & verbal communication skills
Ability and desire to manage a team
Excellent research skills

Nice to Have Qualifications:
5+ years of federal grant/contract submission experience
Proven track record of leading client engagements on large teams
Experience working across DoD, DoE, NSF, and NIH highly desirable
PMP or other project management certification
STEM degree and experience working with PhD scientists and engineers

Compensation:
$90,000, negotiable based on experience.
