Job summary
Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution/service of all catered & concessions events.The role involves managing catering and concessions food and beverage operations including interviewing hiring scheduling ordering inventory labor costs equipment maintenance serving meals directing guests to buffet lines serving beverages checking guest's ID verifying minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages observing guests responding additional requests determining meal completion executing all directives stated in Banquet Event Orders updating administrative paperwork associated with events ensuring tableware linens replaced maintaining sanitation health safety standards meeting company standard excellent attendance recognizing guests visibly intoxicated taking action cut off alcohol cutting individuals leading F&B team training projects inventory special events enforcing Oak View Group policies procedures practicing Human Resources skills employee relations corrective action coaching counseling employees completing necessary HR related paperwork ensuring work environment safe free harassment discrimination relaying safety issues management participating fostering strong working relationships departments maintaining professionalism written verbal communication monitoring food preparation process maintain quality freshness food safety standards performing other duties assigned General Manager.
Qualifications include experience in management capacity high volume fast-paced restaurant or catering environment previous experience leading food beverage programs teams ability supervise others communicate clearly business-like respectful manner generate positive enthusiastic cooperative work environment speak read write English handle cash accurately responsibly calculate basic math functions POS cash credit transactions cash reconciliation product inventory possess valid food handling certificate alcohol service permit required by state federal regulations two year degree Business Management Hospitality preferred
