    The Digital Marketing Manager is a key driver of this work; responsible for collaborating with colleagues across the department and organization to enhance JewishColumbus presence across all its digital platforms including: website, social media, and e-communications.


    In this role, you will:

    • leverage your keen understanding of JewishColumbus brand to develop engaging online content for a variety of platforms and audiences
    • serve as the voice of JewishColumbus presence on multiple social media channels developing content and posting it
    • produce polished, effective print media, email and digital marketing campaigns for events, fundraising efforts and community engagement programs
    • develop digital marketing plan/strategies that overlay non-digital marketing channels to seamlessly integrate the orgs message across all platforms of messaging
    • manage website as it relates to front-end web development, branding, content, user journey, SEO and more


    Across all projects, your successful efforts will graband holdthe attention of key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and Jewish communal professionals.

    Your Role and Responsibilities as Digital Marketing Manager

    • Partner with JewishColumbus internal team members to concept and implement multi-channel content and marketing materials, including copywriting, layout, email design, website content/blog posts, and social media posts and ads
    • Work with the Marketing and Communications Director and other staff members to develop eye-catching static, GIF, and video content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, , email, and other digital/social media platforms
    • Create and distribute digital marketing toolkits for internal and external partners as needed
    • Manage and disseminate the results of digital marketing and advertising campaigns, pivoting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
    • Collaborate as part of cross-functional teams on fundraising and marketing campaigns, including efforts focused on the Annual Campaign, special campaigns and Jewish holidays
    • Create engaging content for events including taking photos and video for social media and email campaigns
    • Proofread and support editing efforts to ensure no errors on marketing materials
    Social Media - Hootsuite

    • Create social media plan and manage calendar for marketing campaigns, crisis response, holidays, events, etc.
    • Track analytics and report impact using data to inform decision making
    • Create and run social media ad campaigns
    • Support partner agencies by collaborating on posts, stories, etc.
    Website - Wordpress

    • Maintain JewishColumbus website - keeping it updated, interesting, and relevant
    • Work with Marketing and Communications Director on a website redesign/reconfiguration. Maintain and regularly update JewishColumbus website including managing/helping with event registration creation and maintenance
    • Update and maintain SEO for website
    • Oversee website transactions including event registrations, donation pages, etc.
    • Update website for crisis communication and actions
    • Create blog content
    E-Communications - Constant Contact

    • Lead the development and production of emails including event invites, newsletters, crisis communications, action alerts, fundraising solicitations, etc.
    • Track analytics and report impact using data to inform decision-making
    • Managing e-communications calendar
    Your Background, Qualifications, and Success Factors

    • - 7 years of professional experience in digital marketing or social media management
    • Demonstrable excellence in written and verbal communication skills including proofreading
    • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro required
    • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Canva preferred
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Proactive, efficient and able to multitask
    • Portfolio of engaging, original content developed for digital and social media, including videos, emails, Instagram Stories and more
    • Experience/familiarity with email marketing software such as Constant Contact or Pardot
    • Familiarity with running social media ad campaign as well as tracking and reporting social media metrics
    • Comfortable with or willing to learn data segmentation to target email and/or social media campaigns to specific audiences
    • Working knowledge of HTML a plus
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Familiarity with a DSLR camera a plus
    • Familiarity with and ability to infuse Jewish culture, values, traditions, and history into your work
    • Desire to contribute in a meaningful way to a growing, thriving non-profit
    • Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a marketing, communications, or related field

    There is a significant employer contribution towards healthcare premiums for both the PPO and High Deductible Health Plans. JewishColumbus provides an annual $500 Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution for those participating in the HDHP health plan.

    JewishColumbus currently runs a hybrid work environment. Staff are expected to be in the office three days a week. The Marketing and Communications Department is in the office T and Th each week with a flexible third day.
