    Job Title

    2nd and 3rd Shift Dosing Laboratory Associate

    About the Role:

    In our dosing laboratory, we manufacture products for medical use. This is a true laboratory environment where you will run all equipment, set up and operate each piece of equipment, clean up, and perform minor maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Obtain work orders from the customer service schedule and gather all necessary materials to complete the job.
    • Set up appropriate equipment (rewind, doser, etc.) to run the job according to work instructions and ISO standards.
    • Have supervisor/production manager sign off on setup and make occasional quality checks.
    • Complete all job-related paperwork and contact warehouse personnel to remove finished product and move it to the proper location.
    • Maintain clean machines and work environments. Notify maintenance of any necessary significant equipment adjustments or repairs.
    • Communicate with supervisor, quality department, warehouse personnel, maintenance, and other people as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience may be substituted for formal education.
    • Some experience in a laboratory manufacturing environment working with equipment having moving parts and requiring set-up skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, job instructions, tickets, labels, charts, and other work-related material in English.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and operation of moving equipment.
    • Strong quality assurance aptitude and attention to detail.

    Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

    Mental and Physical Requirements:

    • Highly mobile and able to access all areas of the premises.
    • Ability to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects.
    • Ability to work over eight hours in a workday and over 40 hours in a workweek as necessary.

    Work Environment:

    • Use of hearing protection, work with water-based inks, use of degreasers and solvents, and other lubricants.
    • Must be highly mobile and able to access all areas of the premises.
