    In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. You will actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
    • Conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, internet and in person.
    • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
    • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
    • Contacts, qualifies and sets appointments with targets via telephone and electronic means, including daily cold-calling activities via phone, email & LinkedIn..
    • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members
    • Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects.
    • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
    • Set up and deliver sales presentation.
    • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
    • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
    • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.
    • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales.
    • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
    • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing preferred
    • Minimum of three years of experience desired

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

    • 1+ year(s) industrial sales experience preferred.
    • 1+ year(s) cold outreach / prospecting experience preferred.
    • Research experience is a plus with excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills.
    • Excellent sales and customer relationship skills.
    • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
    • Abilities to work independently, manage time wisely and prioritize tasks.
    • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)

    Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
