    The assignment currently has a start date of ASAP and has a period of performance of two months.

    If the candidate is also interested there is a possibility of being on call for longer to support as work comes up, likely 3-4 times a year supporting designs that can be relatively simple (2-4 weeks) to more complex (2-3 months).

    It is not a continuous need but has high urgency when needed.

    Electrical Design Team
    in the

    Layout and Route of Printed Circuit Boards
    , readying them for fabrication.


    Minimum Requirements:
    (Education, years of experience, specific skills or tools, etc.)


    Mandatory Requirements:
    years of experience.


    Highly experienced in Layout and Route of very complex printed circuit boards (10+ layers in some cases).

    • Experience in working in a team with mechanical and electrical engineers to find optimal layout solutions.
    • Prior experience routing high speed (10+ Gbps) and/or RF (6+ GHz) traces.
    • Prior experience calculating impedance characteristics, board stackup requirements, etc.

    Highly proficient in Cadence OrCAD PCB Professional Software - a PCB Design Software Program.

    • US Citizenship Required.


    Desired Skills:

    Familiarity with schematic capture, circuit analysis.

    • Familiarity with full suite of Cadence /Or CAD design tools.
