    Job Title: Technical Software Program Manager at Wilbur-Ellis

    General Purpose and Scope of Position:

    We are on the lookout for a skilled Technical Software Program Manager who shares our drive for creating innovative solutions in the agriculture industry. This role reports to the Principal PM Manager.

    Key Skills and Abilities Include:

    • BS. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
    • 6+ years of feature building in software products or programs is essential
    • Strong focus on product, technology, and customer needs
    • Passion for user experience (UX)
    • Excellent communication, organization, and management abilities
    • Outstanding people skills and experience in cross-functional team collaboration
    • Knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodology
    • Experience in working with external tech partners

    Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

    • Understand customer needs, define problems, analyze data, suggest solutions
    • Lead software feature and project development
    • Design software solutions/features and focus on user experience (UX)
    • Collaborate with teams to address challenges and manage risks
    • Create specifications for engineering teams and engage in technical discussions
    • Ensure project progress, identify bottlenecks, and report status
    • Define technical requirements and dependencies, optimize training plans
    • Facilitate software release and handle customer issues
    • Contribute to software development process improvements

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • In compliance with regulations, the base salary for this role ranges from $98,400 to $137,750. Salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
