Job Summary

Amarillo College is seeking a Part-Time Supplemental Instructor - Fire Protection Technology to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental classroom instruction for applicable programs
• Perform effective teaching activities, directing projects, and assisting with student coursework, research and internships
• Plan, develop and present organized instructions and learning opportunities for students in accordance with approved course outlines
• Complete appropriate administrative paperwork and performance evaluations in a timely manner
• Participate in department, division and college meetings as assigned or required
• Assume responsibility for the orderliness of the learning environment and in the appropriate and safe use of instructional facilities and equipment
• Demonstrate and maintain competence in the use of instructional technology
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• TSCP Instructor I Certification
• PREFERRED: TSCP Instructor II Certification or higher, and subject matter expertise
• Experience training individuals on TSCP skills and curriculum
