- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and maintain inventory of parts and tools.
- Perform assigned preventative maintenance on machinery, facility, and fleet.
- Complete scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment and make emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Detect, report, and repair defective equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical tasks, troubleshooting, and the repair of machinery, facilities, and fleets.
- Diagnose and repair issues on our fleet and perform preventative maintenance.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools along with material handling equipment.
- Maintained work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition and followed prescribed safety regulations.
- Relay issues and communicate information to and from vendors on a nightly basis.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication.
- Working knowledge of automated systems. (Conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, etc.)
- PLC experience preferred but not required
- Computer proficiency knowledge of CMMS & BAS is highly desirable
- Basic math skills
- Ability to become certified in Warehouse Equipment(Fork-lifts, Palletjacks, etc.).
- Familiar with the use of all hand and power tools standard to mechanical, electrical, and maintenance repair
- Ability to work independently and as an influential member of a team
- Skilled in general tractor/trailer, lift gates, electrical and mechanical repairs
- Experience in preventative maintenance or educational equivalent(Certified/Certification desirable)
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds or more
- Capable of performing physical activity that requires considerable use of hands, arms, and legs, and movement of the whole body, such as kneeling, lifting, and bending
- General skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics and mechanical repairs are preferred
