- Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
- Responsible for overseeing the departments' management and operation, fostering interdisciplinary relationships, and achieving operational goals through expert change management skills
- Develops policies and procedures, ensures quality control, manages budgets and staffing, and promotes service line growth
- Focuses on nursing quality programs and continuous improvement activities
- Implements strategies to enhance patient satisfaction
- Collaborates with community organizations on health-related outreach programs
- Participates in professional organizations to stay informed about healthcare advancements
- Delivers high-quality patient care
- BSN required, Master's degree preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting with management responsibilities
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred
- Proven leadership in implementing evidence-based practices
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing work
- Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of hospital staff
