    Under the direct supervision of the Director of Staff Development & Program Quality the Manager of Staff Development & Program Quality will provide logistical support for the training and professional development of our program staff and support the implementation of BGCSF's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process that ensures the highest quality of programs and services for our youth.

    The goals for the position are to support the Director of Staff Development & Program Quality as they work to improve staff performance and engagement; identify and implement learning solutions that remove performance gaps; and track staff completion of key training. In addition, as needed, this position will provide support to the HR Department as it conducts New Hire Orientation and Staff Integration, and all policy compliance work.

    This position is full time (40 hours weekly) and is benefits eligible.

    Requirements

    KEY ROLES (ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES):

    Staff Professional Development Support - 60%

    • Ensure BGCSF's core values and organizational philosophies are incorporated in all learning and development activities across departments.
    • Manage, in partnership with HR, the creation of content in BGCSF's Learning Management System (LMS), including instructional videos and decks (Powerpoint, Slides, and other software)
    • In partnership with the Director of Staff Development & Program Quality, facilitate monthly workshops with Youth Development Coordinators to help them build foundational skills and put them on the path for advancement in the organization.
    • In collaboration with the Director of Staff Development & Program Quality and HR, create and manage the annual BGCSF training calendar.
    • Assist with collecting training assessment data and review.
    • In partnership with the Director of Staff Development & Program Quality, facilitate monthly workshops with Youth Development Coordinators to help them build foundational skills and put them on the path for advancement in the organization.
    • Develop a list of resources to incorporate into the learning and development resource guide.
    • Develop and share a monthly CQI/Staff Development Newsletter.
    Management and Coordination of BGCSF's Programming Continuous Quality Improvement Process -40%
    • Document, track, and share annual goals, objectives, and metrics on program quality and effectiveness.
    • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of Clubwide program observations and follow-up meetings.
    • Compile and enter notes from program observations and audits into database.
    • Work with the Outcomes Measurement Team to create and manage dashboards that show progress and areas for program improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports to be shared with Club/Site Leadership and BGCSF's Senior team that communicate progress made on program quality goals, challenges, and recommendations made for improvement.
    • Schedule and coordinate all logistics; and track Club staff participation for all-staff professional development days (i.e. bi-annual program quality trainings, Safety Awareness Day and Managers Safety Awareness Day, etc.)
    • Research external trainings and conferences related to improving program quality for staff to attend.
    SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., youth development, social work, education, program evaluation).
    • Strong knowledge of youth development principles, best practices, and evidence-based approaches.
    • Experience in collecting and analyzing program data.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours consecutively.
    • Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time.
    Pay

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and dependant on circumstances for each position. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry level, mid - level or top of the range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $72,500.
