Key Responsibilities:

• Blast parts/surfaces using blast equipment and various media (Aluminum Oxide, glass bead).
• Clean and prepare surfaces to prevent contamination.
• Follow production schedules and job travelers.
• Mask treads and plug holes as required.
• Handle products safely using forklifts or carts.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to customer specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Enter times and close jobs on a computer.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous blasting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of blast grades and suitable media.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Independence and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to ISO procedures.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Verbal instruction understanding.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Sound safety practices.
• Physical ability to wear protective equipment and lift 50 lbs.
• Standing and physical mobility.
