    We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Business Development and Sales team. This individual would have experience managing attracting and securing customers in the Aerospace and Defense sector, as well as providing program development, account growth, and relationship management for these dynamic, large-scale accounts. We are seeking an individual with a demonstrated manufacturing background who has been in a similar position throughout their career. Strong candidates will bring a background specifically in metal fabrication and/or product manufacturing.

    Purpose

    The Account Manger maintains and expands relationships with key customers and/or market segments. The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quotas, profitability, and business development objectives. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

    Responsibilities
    • Meet all sales volume goals and strategic objectives for assigned accounts and markets
    • Establish, maintain, and grow productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
    • Monitor and manage the Customer Scorecard, including the tracking of on-time delivery and quality expectations
    • Maintain account information in the company ERP & CRM systems, including entering customer communications information in the CRM and in the sales funnel
    • Manage the quoting process to include solicitation of RFQs, setting up quotes in the company ERP system, reviewing finished quotes to validate profitability within the company standards, and submitting information to the customer within the required timeframe.
    • Follow-up with customers, close opportunities, and bring disposition to all outstanding quotes
    • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel - including support services and management resources - in order to meet account performance objectives and achieve customer performance expectations
    Accountabilities and Performance Measurements
    • Achieve the assigned expectations for profitable revenue generation
    • Meet the assigned account and market objectives defined by sales leadership
    • Establish and meet account and market specific growth plans
    • Properly utilize the CRM & Quoting modules with the ERP system
    • Achieve assigned sales quotas in assigned accounts and strategic markets
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Excellent communications skills
    • 3-5 years of previous sales experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for a background in medical and life sciences account management
    • Ability to interpret sales metrics and forecasts
    • Associates or Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
