- Plan and manage large renewable energy projects that may include any or all of the following: next-generation geothermal, power generation with carbon capture and storage, clean hydrogen, long-duration energy storage (LDES)
- Direct and lead the work of technical staff
- Evaluate new strategies and procedures
- Develop and manage the project budget and schedule
- Meet project schedules, providing high quality plans and documents in a timely manner
- Maintain required project documentation
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
- Determine operational objectives by studying energy requirements; gathering information; evaluating requirements; and providing advice as an energy transition advisor
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system requirements; writing specifications
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
- Define and manage system and business requirements
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; defining project team; establishing project budget
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity and outstanding issues, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study and ten years of experience preferred
- U.S. citizenship or three (3) years with green card and U.S. residency required
- Previous experience in renewable energy, construction or other related fields
