Major Functions
The Sr.
Forecast and Demand Planning Analyst will oversee and drive continuous improvement in the areas of demand planning and sales coordination across the Ditch Witch Division (DWD) as it relates to market demand and forecast accuracy.
Responsible for the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand management reviews through interaction with sales, product management, operations, and finance to determine and document demand assumptions, capacity/demand constraints and promotional activities for the set planning horizon.
What Will You Do?In order to

be responsible for
:
Lead the Demand Planning process across the DWD using IBP planning tools to support the business and improve processes
Oversee monthly Demand Agreement Meeting ensuring that a consensus-based demand plan is generated that represents true customer demand
Manage demand control processes monthly in IBP to communicate in units the basis for Production planning and highlighting any major changes
Provide all pre-work data for quarterly allocation plan for product lines
Within the demand execution process identifies options for meeting customer demands of allocating shipments in situations when supply is constrained
Participates in developing action plans that aim to close demand Plan Gaps
Project and communicate potential business impact due through the IBP process
Monitor new product demand and assure timely communication or forecast adjustments needs
Coordinate responses for all incoming short term product request
Develop scenarios in IBP for sales and marketing actions based on product forecasts / programs
Identify and lead continuous improvement efforts that support forecast accuracy
Analyze trends and historical sales against forecast to identify opportunities to improve
Support Supply Chain with demand intelligence as required for strategic projects
Enhance business decisions and processes with CRM data collected from the field
Oversee allocation process for all new product introductions to ensure pipeline equipment is spread across the entire dealer organization and Corporate Accounts as fast as possible

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor's degree prefer in Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or related fields
Requires a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in demand planning, data analytics or supply planning
Strong leadership, superior communication, and
quantitative/qualitative
analysis skills
Strong computer competency in Microsoft Office products
Strong business experience with SAP and Power BI preferred
Ability to learn new software and web-based applications
Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross functional team environments
