    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Engage in analytical thinking and investigations to determine root cause of quality nonconformance issues.
    • Responsible for receiving trailers of bulk products and testing of raw and heat-treated dairy ingredients.
    • Must follow all GMP's and SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists.
    • Maintain area cleanliness, reports leaking or out of spec product and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
    • Follow all Safety requirements to include, Housekeeping, Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE and engage in facility safety efforts.
    • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NYSDA, PMO, FDA, and assist in maintaining SQF readiness, and HACCP.
    • Capable to complete training on the following responsibilities:
      • Product Testing (i.e. sensory, salt, butterfat, total solids, brix, etc.), Incoming bulk product testing and receiving (including raw milk, sugar, resin, cream, skim milk, etc.) , LIMS use, QMI, Silo Washes, Raw receiving line wash, pH meter use and calibrations, Foss and CEM system, Allergens, CoAs and BOL, Vitamin sign out and calibrations, Truck washes, HMI use (switching silos), Foot baths, understanding CCPs and CQPs, Production wizard, Internal water testing, Product release requirement, complete lost and non-conforming reports.
